Forza Horizon 3 - Open-World-Rennspiel startet im September
Auf der Xbox-Pressekonferenz der diesjährigen E3, haben Microsoft, die Turn 10 Studios und Playground Games mit Forza Horizon 3 den neuesten Teil der Open-World-Rennspielserie angekündigt. Das Rennen um den Horizon Festival Titel findet diesmal in Australien statt und startet am 27. September auf der Xbox One und dem PC (Windows 10). Als eines der ersten Spiele wird Forza Horizon 3 zudem das frisch angekündigte "Xbox Play Anywhere" Feature unterstützen. Dadurch wird Crossbuy und -play zwischen Xbox One und Windows 10 ermöglicht. Neben dem nachstehenden Ankündigungs-Trailer findet ihr hier auch entsprechendes Gameplay, das im Rahmen der E3-Präsentation gezeigt wurde.

Start an Online Driving Adventure
- Online 4-Player Co-op allows you and your friends to experience the variety, competition, and rewards of a Horizon campaign together for the first time.
- Create Your Bucket List and challenge friends to beat you at your own game.
- Rule the Leaderboards. Beat your rivals in every race event, Speed Camera, Danger Sign Jump, Drift Zone, and Bucket List you find; everything you do is a chance to one-up your friends.

Man muss jedoch dazusagen, dass diese "Xbox Play Anywhere" PC-Versionen nur für die Digital-Editions gelten, was vor allem beim Preis etwas sauer aufstößt - Quantum Break hat zuletzt 69,99 gekostet im MS Store =/

Ah, ich habe mich schon gefragt wie es für die physikalischen Versionen überhaupt umgesetzt werden könnte. Das ist wirklich schade, vor allem da Microsoft Lizenzen noch nicht über Drittanbieter vertreibt. Ich denke auch langfristig wird der Windows Store damit anderen Clients wie Steam & Co. noch nicht gefährlich. Aber na ja, man kann ja immer noch auf Sales warten und, sofern die Sales nicht auf den Windows Store ausgeweitet werden, dann eben die Xbox Version kaufen.

Ich meine natürlich die digitale Xbox Version, die man irgendwann rabattiert in einem der vielen Xbox Live Sales bekommt Mit Play-Anywhere hätte man ja dann auch eine rabattierte PC-Version. Hoffentlich macht es Microsoft einem aber einfacher und wendet den Rabatt während der Sales auch auf die Spiele im Windows Store an.
