  • Die Geschichte von Samurai Warriros: Spirit of Sanada folgt Masayuki Sanada, dem Patriarchen des Clans, von seinem allerersten Kampf an und fährt fort mit seinem zweiten Sohn Yukimura. Dieser hat ein reines Wesen, ist aber auch ein rücksichtsloses Kind. Während seine älteren Geschwister auf ihn aufpassten, strebte er sein ganzes Leben danach, sein Bestes für den Clan zu geben.

    In Samurai Warriros: Spirit of Sanada erleben die Spieler das Leben in der Stadt, vom friedlichen Treiben bis hin zum geschäftigen Trubel. Hier können sie sich auf den nächsten Kampf vorbereiten, Gespräche mit Offizieren und Bürgern führen sowie Nebenaufgaben annehmen. Die Angst vor dem nahenden Krieg, aber auch der Siegestaumel haben ihre ganz eigenen Auswirkungen auf die Moral der Menschen.

    Im Laufe der Geschichte wächst "Caslte Town"und bietet dem Spieler eine immer größere Auswahl an Geschäften. Beim Schmied lassen sich Waffen verbessern, in Ställen können sie Pferde für die Schlacht satteln, Läden verkaufen seltene Gegenstände und das Dojo dient zum Training neuer Fähigkeiten. Das örtliche Teehaus bietet darüber hinaus die Möglichkeit, Gespräche zu führen und Geschenke zwischen den Offizieren auszutauschen. Mit dem richtigen Präsent lassen sich diese überreden, ins Schlachtengeschick einzugreifen.
